Meet Executive Chef Leonardo Moslemian
Executive Chef Leonardo Moslemian grew up going to the Garden often with his mother. As the chef, he wants to make a positive change on the world and feels the Garden is the perfect place to do that through good. “I believe we need to be the change we want to see happen, and at the Garden, nature is not a place to visit, it’s our home,” he says.
Chef Moslemian’s restaurant career has been local to Chicago, and he has led the kitchens of a number of highly acclaimed dining destinations in the city. He began his career with Levy as the Executive Chef at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and transitioned to his role at the Chicago Botanic Garden in 2025.
